Job Overview

We are looking to reinforce our team supporting System engineering activities at EUMETSAT to support the Validation and Verification Control activities on the mission System and Ground Segment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) :

• System requirement specification and verification
• System test tool maintenance and development
• Review and update of technical documentation
• Creation, maintenance, and co-ordination of the system data circulation procedures, documentation, and execution
• Preparing inputs for TRR/TRB
• Participation in relevant meetings with the Overall Ground Segment, suppliers, and other interfaces

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant discipline  
• Some years of experience in integration, verification, and validation especially test plan creation, review, and execution (also on remote sites)
• Proficiency in Linux environments and virtualization  
• Some experience of system requirement management using DOORS
• Fluency in English 
• Knowledge of SCOS, and Ground Segment would be an asset
