We are looking to strengthen our L1 Mission Operations Team delivering services to our customer based in Oberpfaffenhofen and in Weilheim near Munich with a talented and ambitious team member. What You Will Focus on 

The position requires training and certification in Spacecraft Operations. The tasks are delivered in 24×7 shift pattern with possible on-call requirements.

You will certify in the area of Flight Operations in the Geostationary Mission Operations Team. 

The core duties will be as below (but not limited to):

  • Certification as a spacecraft Controller
  • Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers
  • Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule
  • Monitoring of the health status of all satellites components
  • Monitoring the use of the satellite payload
  • Level-l response to anomalies, based on procedures
  • Data collection after anomalies
  • Activation of engineering support if required

A cross certification in another project may be requested depending upon the discretion of the project manager.

What You Bring

  • Technical experience in Aerospace, Tele-communication or IT related stream (preferably, with an engineering degree but is not a must due to extensive onsite training)
  • Proficient user of computer systems
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and preferably with know-how of LINUX
  • Fluency in English is a must
