Who You Are

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Security Division and support in the provision of Cloud Engineering Service to our clients. Responsibilities involve working with cloud infrastructures and services, utilizing various cloud service models (IaaS and PaaS), and implementing leading-edge technologies like OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes. The primary objective is to optimize multi-cloud environments for unified and efficient platforms.

The successful candidate will contribute to creating an agile, secure, and efficient digital environment, enhancing the user experience, safeguarding data, and advancing monitoring in relevant fields.

What You Will Focus on

  • Design, implement, and deploy services in cloud environments, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
  • Conduct routine checks, upgrades, patches, and troubleshoot system issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and execute efficient deployment strategies and disaster recovery plans using tools like Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, address capacity needs, and resolve issues related to cloud environments.
  • Integrate new technologies seamlessly into existing systems while minimizing user disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with security frameworks, implement data protection measures, and adhere to regulations.
  • Provide training, guidance, and technical support for cloud system usage.
  • Collaborate with industry providers on monitoring and anomaly resolution.
  • Contribute to technical evaluations, SWOT analysis, and technology presentations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in cloud computing architectures, including deployment, scaling, and application management
  • Proficiency with Git and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Hands-on experience with OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Heat) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native application development
  • Expertise in Linux system administration, cloud networking (VPCs, security groups, routing, VPNs), and troubleshooting
  • Skilled in scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, and familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Desirable

  • Familiarity with AI/ML in the cloud, ELK Stack, DASK, and Apache Airflow
  • German language skills
  • ITILv3/v4 Certification
